All returns must be made within 14 days of your purchase. If you wish to return an item, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that all shipping on Returns is not covered by Contemporist Dog. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and with all tags still attached. Returns that are damaged or soiled may not be accepted and may be returned to the customer.
Only regular priced items may be returned, unfortunately sale items cannot be returned. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Please note you can only exchange items for a different size, based on stock availability. If you wish to exchange your item for an alternative product, we suggest that you return it for a store credit and purchase the new item separately.
We only replace items if they are defective or were received damaged. Items that are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear cannot be exchanged. If you would like to exchange it instead of obtaining a refund, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability. If the same product is not available, you are entitled to a full refund.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable, neither the original shipping cost nor the return shipping cost will be repaid. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and cannot be responsible for refunding items lost in transit.
Shipping is complementary on the replacement item within the US and Canada, but exchanges made to destinations outside of the U.S. will be processed for customs clearance and therefore any relevant import duty and tax charges will apply.
